You get exclusive access to the Opening Soiree (see Schedule), including cocktail samples from various participating businesses around the neighborhood. You will also get two entries to your choice of any available cocktail classes during Thursday-Saturday at OKPB. Also, you will gain entry to the closing ceremony at OKPB which will include Bloody Mary-inspired cocktails along with exclusive access to raffle prizes provided by local retailers. This ticket has an estimated value of $250+.
All of the participating bars and restaurants are making a featured cocktail on these days to show off their mixology prowess (see the map of participating businesses once it’s published the week before the event). A part of the proceeds from the sales of these featured cocktails will go to the Mount Pleasant Main Street which help fund a project to improve the commercial corridor. Also, please take a picture of each featured cocktail you order or your receipts because each one will earn you a raffle ticket at the closing event and increase your chances of winning the great prizes donated by the local retail businesses!
You will receive a follow up email asking with instructions on when to attend the opening at Elle, however, all classes and the closing will be at OKPB. These are all based on availability. The earlier you buy, the more likely you’ll get the slots you want!
You are welcome to purchase individual classes a la carte through the website.
Unfortunately, these two are being ticketed together in order to encourage following along the journey of this week. We want those who participate to be as involved as possible. You could also send someone in your stead who can use your name. Reach out to us if you would like any other special accommodations. We will be selling tickets at the door if there is space.
This is being spearheaded by OKPB and the Head Bartender from La Tejana with the support of the Mount Pleasant Main Street program (one of District Bridges’ programs). Part of the proceeds will be used to do this event even better next year so please feel free to give us feedback on how we did!
You have to purchase a ticket to the opening/closing events (which includes two class entries), attend the closing event, collect your raffle tickets there (1 raffle ticket per cocktail purchased during cocktail week, and 1 raffle ticket per event/class attended)
